个Windows Server 2003域中部署第台Windows Server 2008域控制器需要在Infrastructure Master上执行命令adprep /doprep 来准备域l 在安装了可读写
域控制器后可以在Windows Server 2003 森林中安装台只读域控制器(RODC),但前提是需要在任何台机器上执行adprep /rodcprep 命令来准备林.如果这台只读域控制器还要担任全局编录服务器(GC),那么还需要在域森林中所有域中执行adprep /doprep 命令来准备域这样这台RODC才能在域森林中所有域中复制GC数据并担任GC.下面
我们看下如何在Windows Server 2003域中升级AD DS为Windows Server 20081、登录到Schema Master(登录帐号需要是Enterprise Admins和Schema Admins中
成员)插入Windows Server 2008安装光盘进入sources\adprep\下执行adprep /forestprep 命令提示下图中信息输入 C 然后按回车；

2、完成后提示“Adprep successfully updated the forest-wide information”便表示Schema已成功扩展；

3、登录到Infrasturcture Master(登录帐号需要是Do
Admins组成员)插入Windows Server 2008安装光盘执行adprep /doprep /gpprep命令来准备域和更新组策略对象；
4、当提示如下信息时表示成功完成；
5、运行Windows Server 2008安装光盘
点击“Install now”；

6、选择“Do not get the latest updates for
ation”；

7、输入License Key
由于我是评估版所以直接点击“Next”；

8、确认不输入License Key
点击“No”；
9、选择升级
Windows Server 2008版本启用“I have selected the edition of Windows that I have purchased”点击“Next”；注意这里升级安装需要遵循定原则:原标准版可升级为Windows Server 2008标准版或企业版原企业版只能升级为Windows Server 2008企业版

10、打开“许可协议阅读”窗口
选中“I accept the license terms”点击“Next”；

11、打开“您想进行何种类型
安装”对话框选择“Upgrade”选项；

12、在如下兼容性报告(Compatibility Report)对话框中
点击“Next”；

13、打开“正在升级Windows”窗口
开始复制文件并安装Windows在安装过程可能会多次重启属于正常现象；

14、完成后
便可以看到系统已升级到Windows Server 2008了输入帐号密码登录；
15、进入系统后
在“Active Directory Dos and Trusts”中右键点击域名点击属性可以看到当前域功能级别和林功能级别仍然是Windows Server 2003待所有域控制器都升级为Windows Server 2008后我们就可以提升域功能级别和林功能级别为Windows Server 2008了至此整个AD DS升级工作便完成了
